Make the first visit count
Choose three priorities, tell us what you will prepare and flag any rooms or belongings to leave untouched. We’ll discuss the tasks before agreeing a one-off clean or a repeat arrangement.
Choose what you want to feel easier
Your first enquiry does not need an exhaustive checklist. Name the rooms that cause the most work and explain what would make the biggest difference. That might be kitchen surfaces, bathroom detail and living-area floors, or a different combination for your household.
Our regular home cleaning in Wellington service provides the main starting point for ongoing help. For a Miramar visit, add the actual rooms, surface-care notes and preferred timing so we can discuss a tailored scope.
| Priority | A useful description |
|---|---|
| Kitchen | Name the worktops, sink and exterior surfaces you want included. |
| Bathroom | List the fittings and floor work, and any finish needing special care. |
| Living area | Describe dusting and floors, furniture remaining and items to leave alone. |
Decide what belongs to the household
Clearing personal items is different from cleaning the surface beneath them. Before the visit, decide who will put away dishes, paperwork, toys and valuables so the agreed areas are ready. Tell us if a room cannot be cleared or if you need to discuss how to work around it.
- Put away private paperwork and small valuable items.
- Clear the worktops and floor areas in the agreed scope.
- Identify delicate finishes and share their care notes.
- Arrange pets somewhere suitable away from the work.
- Mark rooms or belongings you would like left untouched.
A short preparation list is easier to repeat than a new set of instructions every visit. Keep it with the agreed cleaning scope and update it when your household’s needs change.
Plan a simple first arrival
Give us the full Miramar address and the door to use. Mention steps, shared paths, a gate or a rear unit. Explain the parking arrangement you can offer and check the restrictions on the actual street; a permit or exemption should not be assumed to apply to every space.
Agree entry details directly with us and choose one contact for questions. If someone will be working from home, tell us which area needs to remain available or quiet. We’ll discuss the visit around those practical details.
Turn useful help into a manageable routine
After deciding the first-clean priorities, identify which tasks you want repeated and which are occasional. A catch-up in one room can be discussed separately from the regular list. This helps keep the scope clear as you settle into a routine.
Try the house cleaning schedule template to record daily household upkeep and the work agreed for a visit. If windows or carpets also need attention, prepare their own area lists so we can discuss those services separately.
A Miramar brief to adapt
“We’re in Miramar and would like a first clean focused on the kitchen, main bathroom and living-room floors. We’ll clear personal items and keep the dog outside the work area. One bedroom can be left untouched. The entry is down the side path. Please discuss the scope and options for repeat help.”
Include the number of rooms, condition of the priority areas and your preferred timing. We’ll talk through the details and arrange a free tailored quote.
