Regular home cleaning in Wellington

A repeatable clean starts with the rooms you use most. Tell Lisa and Francis what is hard to keep on top of, and we’ll talk through a regular home-cleaning plan for your Wellington home.

A clear place to start

Peace of Mind offers regular home cleaning with equipment and products supplied. Your task list, visit frequency and arrangements are agreed for your home.

Start with the work you want off your list

A good recurring clean is built around ordinary life: the bathroom that needs attention, the kitchen that never stays clear, and the floors everyone walks across. Walk through your home and choose your essential tasks before adding occasional detail work.

  • Kitchen: identify the worktops, sink, hob and cupboard fronts you want included.
  • Bathrooms: note the number of showers, baths and toilets, plus areas of build-up.
  • Living spaces: list accessible surfaces and floors; flag fragile items or rooms to leave untouched.
  • Bedrooms and stairs: explain which rooms are used daily and where access is restricted.

These are priorities to discuss, not a fixed list of included services. Confirm the final scope in your quote.

Choose a rhythm you can maintain

Think about how the home looks between visits, not only just after cleaning. Frequent cooking, busy bathrooms and tracked-in dirt may make shorter gaps useful. A quieter household may prefer a wider gap with some upkeep between cleans. Ask about a weekly or fortnightly arrangement; availability is confirmed when you enquire.

Make the first visit easy to organise

Share your suburb, room count and preferred days. Mention parking, stairs, pets, surface-care instructions and whether you will be home. Keep keys and alarm details out of a general enquiry; agree a suitable way to exchange access information directly.

  • Choose three must-do priorities and any rooms to skip.
  • Ask which tasks fit the quoted visit and which need separate attention.
  • Agree how to report a missed detail or request a change.
  • After the first visits, review whether the priorities and timing still suit your home.

Make it practical

An example to adapt

“We’re in Wellington with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. We’d like to discuss regular cleaning, with bathrooms and floors first. We work from home on Tuesdays, have a cat, and can send a room list. Please confirm available days and the proposed scope.”

A few helpful details

Will I need to supply products?

Peace of Mind supplies cleaning equipment and products. Tell us about product preferences and care instructions for particular surfaces before the visit.

Does a regular clean include windows or carpet cleaning?

Do not assume specialist work is part of the recurring visit. Window cleaning and carpet cleaning are separate services to discuss and include in the quote if needed.
